I'm Maya. I’m a junior, and I’ve attended Punahou since kindergarten. I really don’t know what other information about me would be useful, but here are a couple things: I have a lovely older sister who has promised to bring me food for our lunch breaks on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I strongly dislike waking up early, and I watch a lot of tv shows.

I've taken Biology and Chemistry in high school thus far, and about 4 hours worth of Physics. I just finished Geometry this past year, and I'm going into Algebra 2/Trig. Math is really not my strong subject, just so you know. It's been the bane of my existence for 15 years and I don't see it getting any better. I decided to take summer Physics because I know that it's going to be easier for me to understand everything when this is the only subject I have to focus on, and I can learn it all it one time. I’m also generally more of a reading/writing person, so I wanted to get Physics out of the way so I could take another English class. So what I hope to get out of this class is a science credit, and maybe a better understanding of Physics than I would have achieved during the normal school year.



This photo represents me as an individual because 1) I'm about to sleep. I love sleeping. 2) I'm with my sister, who is a huge part of my life and 3) I'm on my couch, which is one of my favorite places.
